I ordered some black PLA+ from Wedge 3D, but they just lifted the description straight from the manufacturer without checking the actual product. What they called "black" turned out to be grey, and the "shiny" finish was more like a milky satin. When I tried to send it back, Wedge 3D completely disregarded the Consumer Contracts Regulations and wouldn’t cover the return shipping or refund my postage.

When I placed my order for the Prusa Mini+, I was completely clueless about the vast array of filaments available. I had a vague idea of which types served what purpose, but I was at a loss for what to select for my initial reels to experiment with and learn from.

Amazon felt like a typical jungle of enticing deals and sponsored ads, each accompanied by countless fake reviews.

I stumbled upon Wedge3D while searching for Prusament online, which is known (like their printers) for being high quality and dependable.

I don’t usually engage with those little chat windows on websites, but I was in dire need of some direction. So, I chatted with Clair and explained my lack of knowledge, mentioning that I was looking for a starter pack and had a budget of £100/150. I asked them to help me pick out some options. The main takeaway was to avoid going overboard and buying a bunch of different filament types (which was my plan) and instead just try a couple to see how I fare, then expand from there. I found that approach refreshing; they could’ve easily said, "Sure, we’ll take your whole budget and sell you stuff you don’t really need." But they didn’t. I inquired about flexible filaments and nylon, and they provided some samples, but still emphasized that I should stick to basic PLA for my first reel while I got the hang of things, as it’s the easiest to work with.

They addressed every question I had without any hint of impatience (which was surprising since it was past 6pm). It was genuinely nice to chat with someone knowledgeable about this stuff (I really should use that chat feature more often :)).

They have Prusament available in the UK, which is a huge plus, as ordering from Prusa in Czechoslovakia can be pretty slow unless you pay for the pricey fast shipping.

Since then, I’ve ordered a couple of spare parts and just last week got more filaments. I’ve gained a bit more knowledge now and could shop around (though options are limited for UK-stocked Prusa items). But thanks to that incredibly helpful initial experience, I’ll definitely be returning.

I just got my 7th order from Wedge3d, and I gotta say, I've always been super happy with their service and the stuff they offer. Big shoutout to the team at Wedge3d for doing a fantastic job!

Amazing company! Their customer support is top-notch! Super helpful, and they’re my go-to for 3D printing from now on.

I recently found out that wedge3d is now offering Prusa gear, so I went ahead and ordered a few steel plates along with some spare parts 'just in case'.

I ended up placing two orders since I forgot a few items in the first one, and I was really impressed by 1) how fast the delivery was 2) the quality of the packaging and 3) the nice little extras, like the Vimto bar.

Communication was spot on, not too much and not too little. The packaging was top-notch, and thankfully, no foam beads were involved.

Prices for Prusa are reasonable, though let’s be real, Prusa isn’t the cheapest option out there, but at least I didn’t have to wait two weeks for anything.

Shipping costs were pretty fair too. I’m glad to support a smaller UK business instead of Amazon.

Fantastic products and service. I've already made a few orders and I'm certain there will be more in the future. It's awesome to get items shipped from the UK, which is often hard to find.

Fantastic company with an amazing crew. We’ve now made the switch to using Wedge3D for all our filament and Prusa buys. I handle all the ordering for a design department at a college. It removes all the hassle - and can often be more affordable than going straight through Prusa.

This company is fantastic for getting 3D printer parts. My dad is a big fan of the treats, so I just gotta give a shoutout to the wedge team. They're super friendly and always ready to help if you've got any questions or need assistance.

I ordered an item and shelled out extra cash for next day delivery. DPD let me know it was supposed to arrive today (23/08/2022), but there was no delivery attempt at all; it just sat in the depot. I reached out to Stuart Wedge through chat, asking for a refund on the extra delivery charge, but he flatly refused, saying it would eventually be delivered, so no refund was coming my way.

I really needed that part today, not the next day. He suggested I reject the parcel, and then he’d eventually process a full refund.

The customer service here is terrible, and I won’t be returning.

Honestly, it’s not my problem if you don’t get refunds from your carrier (which is pretty odd) - that’s something you need to sort out, and I’d recommend switching to a different carrier since they all usually provide refunds when things go wrong.

What bothers me is your attitude about denying a refund when the service fails, just shrugging it off and saying it’ll be delivered. This has been the worst customer experience I’ve ever encountered, and I buy stuff on eBay all the time!

Finally, the parcel was attempted to be delivered today (25/08/2022), which means I’ve had to stay home for three days waiting for a next day delivery that I paid extra for.

Stuart Wedge’s attitude was appalling, and I get the feeling it’s a reflection of the whole company.

Incredible business that truly maintains a top-notch level of customer care and a wide selection of products for their industry.

They've got a fantastic selection of items, and the help you get from their team is really impressive.

Top seller with unbeatable pricing on the e sun filament. The customer service is fantastic; honestly, I can't complain at all :)

Always speedy delivery and a great variety of top-notch filaments.
